Do you sense something is missing?
Maybe you have your dream job (or a job that pays).
Others see you as successful, confident, and strong.
You’re climbing the ladder, getting the promotion, or getting the recognition.
You work your butt off.
But something is missing.
You have people to do fun things with.
You post highlights regularly on social media.
You’re in a relationship and think you know the formula to make it work.
But something is missing.
In an increasingly isolating world, we are all sensing something is not quite right. We have all the things, but it’s just not enough. We are depressed, anxious, unable to focus, and ultimately feel alone.
Connection. What we are missing is true connection. The kind where we show up at each other's homes just because. The kind where our people have access to our needs and actually get the chance to meet them. The kind where we show the difficult parts of our stories with risk knowing that shame is telling us to stay silent. The kind where we know how to hold space for the “ish” with our people and make them feel seen. This type of connection beats shame. Shame can not exist here.
We all need this and yet we live in our little bubbles and wonder why our hearts yearn for something more. We yearn for acceptance and vulnerability, but most don’t know how to do it.
Reach out my friends, we can give you the tools for connection. We can't survive without it. What are you waiting for?
