About New Day Counseling Co.
New Day Counseling Co. LLC exists to create a safe space where clients will be challenged to step out in bravery, fully bringing their authentic self, in order to find true healing and the freedom to be exactly who God created them to be.

Hey, I'm Jordan!
If you’re here, I want to take a moment to commend you. Reaching out for help is far from easy. Speaking as someone who has been in your shoes, I get it.

I've spent years wondering who I am, if I'm enough, and carrying the weight of societal pressure. Pressure to be who I thought I should be. Pressure to be who I thought would be acceptable. Wondering when my achievements and efforts would be enough. But that only left me crushed by sadness and the unbearable stress of life.

Vulnerability was a thing I wanted to believe in, but the message that emotions were a sign of "weakness" was overpowering so I pulled myself together and put on a brave face.
Until I didn't.
As I began to embrace all the parts of myself, I experienced true freedom and healing from the shame and guilt that held me captive for so many years. I began to see each day as a new day for compassion, grace, and mercy.

I want to help you tell your story more truly and break free from all of the barriers that life has thrown your way. What are you waiting for?
Today is a new day.

FAQs of working with a therapist
who is a Christian
01.
Are you a Biblical counselor?
A Biblical counselor typically uses a Biblical framework to guide their counseling practice. I, instead am a counselor who integrates faith into sessions to the extent that clients desire. This means I use evidence-based practices as a framework for practice while operating under a Christian worldview.
02.
Do you use scripture in session?
I will utilize scripture if that is something my clients ask for.
03.
Will you push your belief system on me?
No. It is not my job to assert my belief system on my clients. I only utilize faith in practice if it is something my clients desire.
04.
Can we still work together if I'm not a Christian?
Absolutely! Many of my clients don't identify as Christians and we get to do great work together. Ultimately I believe it is my job to meet clients where they are and be a support to them.
"Be yourself, everyone else is taken."
